More level blocking


Player Movement

Things have been going a bit slow on the game front, as in the the front end but I have changed the player movement and the bullet prefab. The player can now move with the a and d keys as well as the left and right arrow.

The player has also been restricted to the bounds of the screen and I am interested to see how that goes this week in testing during the tutorial with different screen sizes and computer setups.

Enemy Prefabs

The sprites that I was planning on using I am having trouble getting the right effect on the screen. They are a copy of the original galaga enemy sprites. I had the animation working well but they are to transparent and hard to see on the background. They also have a very faint grey coloured box around them. After several hours I have decided to just use basic enemy sprites at this stage until I have the spawning pattern and the rest of the enemy interaction working.

UI and scoring

This also has to start this week , the original thought was for an overlay like the original galaga, but I think I will put that to the tutorial group in testing and decide from there.
